Ensuring the functionality of our service with Amazon Echo is something that we are looking into for the future, and that we hope to be able to start developing soon.
Please rest assured that this integration is still one of our projects for the long-term, but will take place later in the future. Additionally, and until this integration has taken place, it is possible to connect your device via Bluetooth to some Amazon Echo devices.
Please see below the instructions for this setup and to verify if your Amazon Echo device is compatible with Bluetooth.
The two possible ways in which you can pair your Bluetooth device (such as your phone or computer) to Amazon Echo. This is either by using your voice (by using Alexa) or the Amazon Echo web interface. In order to use your voice, you will need to say "Alexa pair", following which you will receive the response “Ready to pair, to the Bluetooth settings on your mobile device and choose Echo-#.” # being the identification of your Echo device.
You can then open the Bluetooth settings on your device which can generally be done by doing a search within the settings of your device but is entirely dependent on the type of device you are using. For more information on how to use Bluetooth with your device, please refer to the manufacturers or instructions provided with your device.
Once you have accessed your Bluetooth settings, you can select the Echo from the list. Once the connection between your device and Amazon Echo is established, Alexa will say “Connected to Bluetooth”.
