One of our most important missions is to build the most extended classical music catalog. As of today, we have over 3 million classical music tracks available on Primephonic, but availability can vary over time and between countries, depending on the permissions from rights holders.
We add new content to Primephonic every day, so if you can’t find something you’re looking for right now, it may appear (or reappear) soon.
If you do not find an album on Primephonic, it could be one of the following two reasons why:
1. Permission from its right holder
Our team is digging into the archives of all classical music recordings since the development of analog sound recording in the nineteenth century, in order to offer you the most complete classical catalog. Some of the masters of these recordings are:
- only available on analog (CD or vinyl), never made available digitally
- owned by labels who do not avail recordings for streaming purposes
- owned by a now-defunct label
If you wish to stream an album you did not find on Primephonic, let us know here.
If there is a label you would love to have on Primephonic, please write at firstname.lastname@example.org . We welcome you 100% into our Primephonic family if you could contact the label(s) as their aficionados and help us convince those labels to be distributed on Primephonic!
